My heart goes out to all our families who are struggling through the disaster of the Tea fire. The children have come back to school and found a place that was safe and familiar. They have shared stories, played with their friends and have found comfort in the routines of the class. I am available to speak with any parent, please let me know of concerns, developments, etc. that might help me with your child.

Thanksgiving Play: It was nice to focus on our play this week. I hope, if you attended today, that this was a change of focus for you as well and a bright spot in your week.

Parent conferences: Conferences will be held the week following Thanksgiving, Dec. 1 through Dec. 5. Dismissal will be at 11:30 each day. Conferences have been scheduled for the same day of the week at the same time as previously scheduled. You will see a reminder stapled to this letter.  If that day or time is no longer convenient, please stop in and see me to schedule an alternative time.

Parent Volunteers: It is time to rotate parent volunteers. A letter is attached with the new volunteer names and times. Please let me know if there are any conflicts.

Sharing: There will be no sharing next week due to the short week.

Turkey Trot: Annual fun run, on Wednesday, Nov. 26, around the field to try and catch someone dressed up as a turkey. Kindergarten will “chase” first at 10:30. Dismissal is at 11:30 that day.
