ABOUT ME:
This is my 4th year teaching 6th grade at Cold Spring School -- and I couldn't
be happier. I attended undergraduate and graduate school at UCSB, after which
I moved up to Portland, Oregon. Oregon is a beautiful place, and if the
weather had cooperated, I just might be there still. However, growing up in
Hawaii and California has made it hard to adjust to 9 months of grey and rainy
skies. Most of the hobbies that I enjoy are outdoors -- and they are far more
enjoyable when I am not soaked to the skin. Needless to say, I'm quite
thankful to be back in sunny Santa Barbara, and even more thankful to be
working in an equally warm school environment.
