READ-A-THON RULES

  1. For the CSS Read-a-thon, students (or parents) will record the number of minutes spent reading each day on the CSS Read-a-thon online log. This is purely an honor system and we are relying on students and families to accurately and fairly record minutes spent reading!

  2. Students will win prizes based on various criteria: participation, number of sponsors and number of minutes read.

  3. Teachers' reading to students during Cold Spring School class time DOES NOT count. Reading books aloud to students does count and those minutes can be recorded daily.

  4. Books on tape, audio books or read-aloud videos of books DO NOT count.

  5. All books count, including picture books, learn to read books, graphic novels, comic books, novels, nonfiction and more!
