FREE Cold Spring Sponsored Parent Education, Friday, September 29th from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM, Principal’s Courtyard

Topic:  Supporting Students with Anxiety

Dr. Brooke Sears, licensed clinical psychologist and former Cold Spring parent, will be joining me on Friday, September 29th for the first of our Parent Education Series on Supporting Children with Anxiety.  Dr. Sears began working as a psychotherapist in 2004. Over the years, she has provided therapy to children, adolescents, adults and couples in community clinics, medical and academic settings. She now has a private practice in Santa Barbara, CA, where she helps people address abroad range of issues.

  Running Club Update

Congratulations to all our runners who joined us early this morning!  We had lots of smiles and happy hearts entering our classrooms this morning!  Running Club runs from 7:45 AM - 8:25 AM, every Wednesday.  



Afterschool Cold Spring Enrichment Classes:  Volleyball, Dance, and Chess

As promised, we are continuing to roll out Afterschool Enrichment classes for our community.  This week we are adding FREE Afterschool Volleyball to fourth through sixth grade, FREE afterschool Dance to first grade, and afterschool Chess for second through fourth grade.  The registration deadline for each class is Friday, September 22nd at 5:30 PM.  

*FREE East Beach Volleyball Academy for 4th-6th Grade (Cold Spring Sponsored through our ELOP Grant)

East Beach Volleyball Academy Coaches, Dana Kabashima and Katie Spieler, will be teaching five sessions of afterschool volleyball beginning Wednesday, September 27.  We ask that your child commit to attending all five sessions.  Below are the commitment dates and times.  To register your child, please click HERE.

*FREE Dance and Movement Class for 1st Grade (Cold Spring Sponsored through our ELOP Grant)

Cold Spring Drama teacher, Naomi Matlow, will be teaching an afterschool Dance and Movement class in the Auditorium beginning Thursday, October 5th.  We ask that your child commit to attending all five sessions.  Below are the commitment dates and times.  To register your child, please click HERE.

*After School Academic Chess for 2nd - 4th Grade (Direct Fee $98 - Outside Contracted Vendor)

Academic Chess is being offered every Friday from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM for 2nd - 4th grade students in Room 9 (Ms. Wooten’s classroom). This wonderful learning experience not only teaches children to play chess but also prepares them for life by enhancing their thought process. Considered Mobile Coffee, Friday, October 6, 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM

The Cold Spring Parent Club is bringing back Considered Mobile Coffee on Friday, October 6th. All families are invited to order a coffee drink in front of the campus.
