New Cold Spring Kitchen Staff Hired to Deliver Excellence is Food Service and Nutrition Education

We are excited to introduce our newest additions to the Cold Spring School kitchen team, Caitlin Larsen and Nick Sullberg. With their extensive culinary expertise and deep connections to the Cold Spring community, they are poised to enhance the dining experience for our students beginning Monday, October 30th.

Caitlin Larsen - School Chef/Nutrition Program Specialist

Caitlin is not only a dedicated professional but also a proud alumna of Cold Spring School. Her lifelong passion for food, nutrition, and education makes her the perfect fit for her role as School Chef and Nutrition Program Specialist. With years of culinary experience under her belt, Caitlin is committed to creating healthy and delicious meals that cater to the unique needs of our students.

Nick Sullberg - Chef's Assistant/Maintenance Special Projects

Nick Sullberg comes to us with a rich background in the culinary world, having been born and raised in Sonoma County amidst a family of restaurateurs, winemakers, cooks, and bakers. His culinary skills are complemented by his years of experience as a carpenter and problem-solving enthusiast, making him an invaluable asset to the kitchen team. Nick's dedication to getting things done, combined with his culinary prowess, ensures that our kitchen runs smoothly.

Both Nick and Caitlin have collectively spent nearly four decades in restaurants and professional kitchens, and they bring a wealth of culinary knowledge to Cold Spring. Furthermore, they share a special connection with the school, as they are proud Cold Spring parents themselves, with children in second grade and transitional kindergarten.

We are delighted to welcome Nick and Caitlin to the Cold Spring team in their professional capacities. Their expertise, dedication, and passion for food will undoubtedly elevate the culinary experience for our students, staff, and families. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Caitlin and Nick as they embark on this exciting journey with us.
