Dear Cold Spring School Community,
I want to highlight a few exciting things from this week’s newsletter:
Back-to-School Night begins this evening at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. I’ll start with a short presentation before families are invited to visit classrooms and meet their child’s teacher.
Student Music Opportunities are shared, opening the door for our children to further explore their creativity and talent.
Community Fitness Event with lululemon Santa Barbara: I’d like to invite your family to join me for a two-mile run, strength training, and yoga session at the Santa Barbara lululemon store tomorrow evening. This special event is designed to help prepare us for the She Is Beautiful 5K happening this Saturday, September 6th at 8:30 a.m. at Chase Palm Park.
Registration is nearly full, and prices increase tomorrow, so I encourage you to sign up soon! This flat course is a wonderful way for kids (and families!) to experience a 5K while supporting Girls Incorporated. All genders are welcome this year.
Thank you for your continued support. I look forward to seeing everyone this evening and cheering many of you on at Saturday’s run!
With gratitude,
Dr. Amy Alzina
