Dear Cold Spring Families and Community,
What a wonderful week at Cold Spring School! We kicked off our Readathon on Monday, and I want to thank all of our families in advance for supporting this Parent Club fundraiser and, even more importantly, for supporting your child’s love of reading at home. The time you spend reading together truly matters, and we’re so grateful for your partnership.
We’re also looking forward to one of our most cherished Cold Spring traditions: our Valentine’s Pancake Breakfast sponsored by our amazing dads! More information will be coming soon, but please save the date for Tuesday, February 10th. This special morning is spearheaded by Mark Gonzalez (Mrs. Gonzalez’s husband), who is graciously supporting this event once again. Mark is a professional chef and will be leading our volunteer dads as they prep and cook breakfast for our entire school community. We’re also incredibly thankful to Brett Grube, who donates year after year, supporting everything from breakfast supplies to balloons and the extra touches that make this event feel so festive and joyful. I’ve known both of these gentlemen for quite some time, and they truly have incredible servant hearts.
A few more exciting updates and upcoming events:
So much to celebrate, and I’m deeply thankful for your continued support at school and at home. We are truly a community that comes together to support every child’s success.
With gratitude,
Dr. Alzina
