Dear Cold Spring Families,
What a wonderful day at today’s annual Track & Field Meet at Westmont College!
Our Cold Spring Dolphins competed with heart, sportsmanship, and tremendous effort alongside more than 400 students from schools across Santa Barbara and Montecito. We are so proud of our students for showing up, giving their best, cheering each other on, and representing Cold Spring so well.
Cold Spring finished 6th overall, right behind Montecito Union, and our students placed 5th in both the girls’ and boys’ divisions. I have attached the overall school placement results, as well as the individual event results, so families can review and celebrate all of the student accomplishments from the day.
A very special thank you goes to our amazing Cold Spring parent volunteers who helped make today possible, not only for our Cold Spring students, but for all of the students who participated from across Santa Barbara. This event truly takes a village, and I am so grateful for the way our community steps up to support children.
Today was another beautiful example of Cold Spring living out our vision: Every Child, Every Opportunity, Every Day. Whether it is track and field, art, music, math, science, technology, leadership, or service, we are blessed to be part of a community that believes in creating meaningful opportunities for all students in so many different ways.
Thank you again for your support, encouragement, and partnership. Go Dolphins!
With gratitude,
Dr. Alzina
