Cold Spring School District

Dear Cold Spring Families,
What a fantastic Friday! We were so fortunate to have student-athletes from my alma mater, Westmont College, welcoming our students to campus this morning with energy, encouragement, and school spirit.
As a former Westmont student-athlete who ran track and field and cross country, this visit was especially meaningful to me. I’m grateful to these college students for taking the time to connect with our students and be such positive role models.
And if you notice my UC Berkeley gear in the video, that’s the proud mom in me! With my son Jack now at Cal, I couldn’t resist showing a little Berkeley pride. Berkeley also recently tied with UCLA as the nation’s No. 1 public university in U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 rankings!
Please enjoy the video celebrating this special morning. Thank you, Westmont, for helping our students feel welcomed, supported, and excited to be at school!
Happy Friday!
