Dear Cold Spring Families,

What a joy it has been to watch our TK, kindergarten, first, and second graders perform! Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to cheer them on. I’m looking forward to our third through sixth grade performances tomorrow!

A big shout-out to our first-year teacher, Miss B, and all her Busy Bees! She is doing a wonderful job, and seeing her work alongside former Cold Spring teacher Pam Herzog makes it even more special. It’s a beautiful reminder of how our community shows up for one another through every season.

Friday brings Halloween fun! Students are encouraged to wear costumes to school. Please, no blood or scary costumes. Our student parade and Student Council sponsored blacktop dance party are for students only. We’re also looking forward to our pumpkin carving contest before sending your wonderful children home for Halloween with you!

As a mom whose children have grown, I know these days can feel both magical and exhausting. Take a moment to pause, be present, and write down something you want to remember. Alongside the photos, consider keeping a little book of treasured memories of the funny things they say, the moments that make you smile. We think we’ll remember every detail, but those written memories become such a gift.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children. We are so grateful. Enjoy the highlights and reminders below!

With gratitude,

Dr.  Alzina

Give Thanks this November with the Unity Shoppe!

Cold Spring Student Council is proud to support the Unity Shoppe this Thanksgiving! Help us give back to our community by donating items from their Thanksgiving Donation Wishlist. Each grade will have its own donation box located outside the office starting November 3rd!

Our goal is to collect more than 1,000 items! If we beat last year’s total of 1,013 donations, we’ll celebrate with an all-school surprise!

Every little bit makes a big difference, so clean out those pantries and help us give back! 🧡

Wednesday Run Club Update

Congratulations to our Top 10 runners! We’re excited to see our runners continuing to build endurance this season.

Run Club meets every Wednesday at 7:45 AM on the field, weather permitting. As we head into the winter months, the field may be wet, so we recommend that runners bring an extra pair of shoes and socks to change into after running.
