ACSA Region 13 Administrator of the Year Award for 2023
Congratulations! Yuri Calderon is being recognized as the ACSA Region 13 (San Luis, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties) Business Services Administrator of the Year! Mr. Calderon will be receiving his Administrator of the Year award at the ACSA Region 13 Awards Ceremony on May 5th in Santa Barbara.

Valentine's Day Candy Grams for Sale!
Valentine’s Candy Grams will be on sale during the first recess on Wednesday, February 8th through Friday, February 10th. The Student Council is selling them for $1 each! The Candy Grams will be delivered to that special someone on February 14 by the Student Council representatives.
Dad’s Valentines Day Breakfast on Tuesday, February 14 at 7:30 AM
Brett Grube and Mark Gonzales are organizing our annual all-school Valentine's Day pancake breakfast prepared and served by the Cold Spring School Dads. The breakfast is open to all on Tuesday, February 14th in front of the Gazebo! Every Dad is welcome to join them with set up, pancake preparation, serving, and clean-up. Preparations begin at 6 AM in order to have the 7:30 AM breakfast ready for the children and families. This is a fun event for the entire family. Cold Spring Foundation Auction Event! Get your tickets!
Get your tickets for the Cold Spring Foundation Spring Event on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Purchase your tickets early before the ticket price increases. The Foundation is also looking for big items for the auction. They would love a vacation home to auction off. Calling all Singers, Dancers, Musicians, Magicians, and more! We want YOU to be a part of our Annual Showcase of Stars!
Students are encouraged to organize a fun act, up to 2 minutes in length, either with friends or on their own. Performers are limited to one act. Be creative-acts can be a comedy routine, a spoken word, hula-hooping, a martial art or a short film!
DRESS REHEARSAL: Tuesday, February 21 3-5pm
SHOWTIME: Wednesday, February 22 at 4pm!
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Please fill out this Sign-Up Sheet, this is the preferred method. There will also be a sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board outside the office from January 25-February 2. The deadline to sign up is February 2nd. Please help your child be prepared to sign-up with their name, grade and description of the act if they use the sheet at school.
AUDITION DATE INFO!
Auditions will be held after-school on Monday, February 6th in the auditorium. TK-3rd grade auditions will begin at 3:15 PM and 4-6th grade will begin at 4:00 PM. The audition schedule will be posted on the bulletin board outside the office and emails will be sent to parents who are listed in the CSS directory.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO AUDITION?
Please bring the instruments, costumes or props that you will need to show off your talent. This includes borrowed instruments from Ms. DiSalvo. Please contact her prior to your audition to borrow any instruments. Due to restricted space you cannot store props at school and will need to bring them back and forth from home.

President’s Day Holiday, February 17 and February 20, No School!
President’s Day weekend is February 17 - 20. There will be no school for students on Friday, February 17, or Monday, February 20. The school office will also be closed. Enjoy the long weekend!
Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten Enrollment, 2023-24 School Year
Incoming TK/Kindergarten Enrollment is happening now! Please contact the office to start the enrollment process so we can begin planning for the 2023-2024 school year. The Transitional Kindergarten window has been extended. If your child's 5th birthday falls between September 2nd and April 2nd, they qualify for Transitional Kindergarten. If you know anyone who is interested in taking a school tour, please encourage them to make an appointment with the school office for one of the below-listed tour dates:
